In connection with the extension of “Nordhavnen” in Copenhagen, there had to be build 710 meters of road incl. supplies, drainage and lighting set up, perpendicular to the existing Kattegatvej. Along part of the way a amphibian fence was established, in order to ensure the protection of the amphibians in the area. The road had virtually no downgrade, which meant that the drainage happened via 68 wells along the road with rise between each well. The water was discharged into Øresund via an ø1400 concrete pipe which went through construction work -3 meters below sea level. A Pathway on about 500 meter was also established.
